DU SOL Semester 1 Result 2026 - Current Update
For the November-December 2025 examination cycle, the University of Delhi Examination Wing has already published a result-declared list and multiple SOL result notifications during March-April 2026.
If you appeared in Semester 1 in that cycle, check your official Statement of Marks instead of waiting for a new estimated result date.
If you are a new 2026-27 student, note that the University has separately issued the Semester I/III/V/VII/IX examination-form notification for the December/January 2026-27 session. Your Semester 1 result belongs to that later exam cycle, not the old November-December 2025 result list.
Best rule: always match your admission batch, exam session, programme and Semester 1 paper details before assuming a result belongs to you.

That is no longer the most useful answer for students from the November-December 2025 cycle because result notifications have already been published. This updated guide focuses on checking the correct result, reading the marksheet, understanding ER/RL/Absent codes and knowing what to do next.
Which Semester 1 Result Does This Page Cover?

Use the current result-declared list and SOL Statement of Marks portal. Do not wait for another broad “result date” announcement.
Your result may be listed programme-wise or through the Statement of Marks search.
If You Joined DU SOL in 2026-27
Your upcoming Semester 1 examination belongs to the December/January 2026-27 cycle.
The University of Delhi Examination Wing issued the exam-form notification for Semester I/III/V/VII/IX on 1 September 2026.
Do not use an older Semester 1 result notification from the 2025 batch as your own result status.
How to Check DU SOL Semester 1 Result 2026
Step 1: Open the official SOL Statement of Marks search page or the University of Delhi result-notification page.
Step 2: Match the correct examination year/session, course and semester/part before entering student details.
Step 3: Enter the SOL Roll Number and Exam Roll Number requested by the official marksheet search. The official search page also asks you to choose the Year of Exam, Course and Part.
Step 4: Submit the details and open your Statement of Marks.
Step 5: Check your name, roll number, programme, paper marks, status codes and SGPA/credit information where applicable.
Step 6: Save the Statement of Marks as a PDF or screenshot and keep a backup copy in your email or cloud storage.

Do not keep refreshing several unofficial result websites on your phone. Save the two official links above and check the programme/session first.
If an official portal is temporarily slow after a result update, retry later rather than entering your credentials on a third-party site.
How to Read Your DU SOL Semester 1 Marksheet
Your Statement of Marks can contain paper-wise marks, credits/SGPA information and short result codes. The exact layout can differ by examination scheme, so focus on the labels printed on your own official statement rather than comparing screenshots from another batch.
Student details
Check your name, SOL Roll Number, Exam Roll Number and programme.
Paper details
Match the subject/paper code with your actual Semester 1 curriculum.
TH
Theory component, where shown.
PR
Practical component, wherever applicable.
IA
Internal Assessment component.
SGPA / credits
Shown where applicable under the relevant credit-based scheme.
Result status
Look for codes such as P, ER, RL, A, F, F-TH or F-PR.
ER, RL, A, F & Other Result Codes Explained
ER - Essential Repeat
You have to satisfy the requirement for that paper under the applicable examination rules. ER should not be ignored because the official SOL marksheet page states that students with ER remaining are not eligible for the degree until the requirement is cleared within the span period.
RL - Result Later
The result will be declared later, if necessary. RL does not automatically mean fail.
P - Passed
You have passed that paper.
A - Absent
The official result record shows you as absent for that paper.
F - Failed in Paper
The paper has not been cleared under the applicable result criteria.
F-TH - Failed in Theory
The theory component has not been cleared.
F-PR - Failed in Practical
The practical component has not been cleared.
Imp - Improvement
The entry relates to an improvement attempt/status where applicable.

Result Shows “No Record Found” - What Should You Do?
- Confirm that you selected the correct exam year, course and part/semester on the official marksheet search.
- Recheck both SOL Roll Number and Exam Roll Number carefully.
- Verify that your programme result has actually been declared on the official result-notification list.
- Make sure you are not checking an older/newer examination session by mistake.
- If the exact programme result is declared but your record is still missing, contact the official SOL/University examination support with your admit card and examination details.
Important
The old claim that “No Record Found” is usually just a typing error is too absolute. A wrong session, undeclared programme result or record discrepancy can also be involved.
Do not wait a fixed 24-48 hours based only on an unofficial rule; verify the official notification and your own record.
What If Your Result Shows Absent but You Took the Exam?
If the official Statement of Marks shows A/Absent for a paper you actually attended, treat it as a result discrepancy. Keep your admit card, paper details and any available examination proof, then contact the appropriate official examination/SOL channel promptly.
Do Not Delay a Result Discrepancy
The official SOL Statement of Marks page asks students to contact SOL if there is a discrepancy in theory marks or passing criteria within one month from the declaration of the result.
So do not rely on an old “15-day absent correction” claim unless a current notice for your case specifically says so.
Is the Online DU SOL Semester 1 Marksheet Valid?
Official Position
The SOL Statement of Marks page states that the web-based Statement of Marks is valid for all official purposes.
If an authenticated copy is specifically needed, students are advised to get the statement authenticated by the Executive Director, SOL, DU.
This is more accurate than calling every online Semester 1 marksheet “only provisional”.
Semester 1 Revaluation or Rechecking - What to Know
Do not hard-code an old fee/payment portal into this article. The University of Delhi Examination Wing currently provides an Online Application for Revaluation/Rechecking and publishes separate revaluation notifications. The applicable facility, fee and deadline can depend on the examination and paper.

University rules published for revaluation/rechecking have used short windows from the date of result publication/upload - for example, 15 days in the published rechecking/revaluation rules.
Always open the current Revaluation notification/application before paying a fee because the active process can change.

NEP/UGCF vs Older CBCS: Why Marksheets Can Look Different
Do not assume every Semester 1 student has the same result layout. Newer UG batches follow current University of Delhi credit-based structures, while continuing/legacy students may appear under older schemes. Paper codes, credits and the presentation of SGPA can therefore differ.
The safest way to identify your scheme is to match your admission year, programme, paper codes and the examination notification. Avoid the old blanket statement that every student admitted “in 2022 or later” will always see exactly the same marksheet format.
Does Semester 1 Decide Whether You Can Continue?
One ER does not automatically mean that your entire degree is over. Promotion and progression depend on the applicable University rules for your batch and credits/papers earned. The University of Delhi has issued current passing/promotion criteria under NEP-UGCF, including the revised 28-credit criterion for progression to the subsequent year for applicable batches.
Important for First-Year Students
Do not confuse “paper not cleared” with “automatic year back”.
Check the promotion rule applicable to your admission batch and total credits/papers before making a conclusion.
New 2026-27 Students: Semester 1 Exam Form Is Already a Current Update
If you joined in the 2026-27 session, your immediate concern is not the old Semester 1 result. The University of Delhi Examination Wing issued a notification on 1 September 2026 for filling examination forms for UG/PG Regular, NCWEB and SOL Semester I/III/V/VII/IX students for the December/January 2026-27 session.
That means new students should now track their examination form, paper selection, classes and study material. Your Semester 1 result will come after that examination cycle.
